Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

We understand that schedules can change. To provide the highest quality care and ensure availability for all clients, we ask that any cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.

Refund Policy - the basics

  • Appointments canceled more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund for that session.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, or missed appointments (“no-shows”), will incur a $75 late cancellation fee for therapy and life coaching sessions, regardless of session type or duration.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows for yoga classes or group sessions will be charged at the full session rate.

Late Cancellation Fee Policy


The $75 late cancellation fee is applied consistently to all therapy and life coaching clients, regardless of the reason for cancellation. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and consistency for all clients, as well as to respect the time and availability of our clinicians

When an appointment is reserved, that time is held exclusively for you. Late cancellations and missed appointments prevent other clients from accessing care, including those on waitlists. Applying this policy uniformly allows us to maintain ethical, equitable, and sustainable practices in alignment with professional standards of care.

Medicare & Medicaid Considerations


For clients utilizing Medicare or Medicaid, late cancellation and no-show fees may be subject to additional regulations depending on state and payer guidelines. In many cases, providers may charge a missed appointment fee if the policy is clearly communicated in advance and applied consistently to all clients, regardless of insurance status. Clients are encouraged to review their specific plan guidelines.

Attendance & Discharge Policy

Consistent attendance is essential for effective care. We reserve the right to discharge clients from services under the following circumstances:

  • Three (3) late cancellations or no-shows within a 24-hour window, and/or

  • Three (3) instances of arriving significantly late in a way that impacts the scheduled session time

This policy applies to all clients, regardless of insurance status. If discharge becomes necessary, appropriate referrals will be provided to support continuity of care. This approach allows us to maintain access for clients on our waitlist and to respect the time and professional commitments of our clinicians.
