My name is Lori-Ana and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Life Coach. I have been in the mental health field for over 6 years. After recognizing that I needed to make a change from corporate life to something that fulfilled my need to make a difference, I started on my own journey to personal healing. I realized that we all need support in taking small steps to make brave changes. 


I started my journey in supporting others 8 years ago when I became a yoga teacher. I began to see the need to reconnect with our bodies, mind, and soul. After seeing the benefits of yoga practice and mindfulness, I then continued my path to helping others by volunteering as a Victims Advocate. I worked for MHMR caring for special needs older adults. I completed my internship with both a Women's organization fighting to help support and educate women to beat poverty and a mental health hospital that supported adults 18+. I worked in hospice and home health and also became an ER psychiatric social worker before I then graduated into a group and individual therapist role for an outpatient PHP/IOP program. My skills are based in DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing. I also have experience with exposure therapy and attachment based family therapy. Through my training in yoga and in therapy, I decided to open another path to help others and that is through life coaching.

Life coaching is an avenue to help individuals achieve personal goals. It is a way to help you grow and motivate you to succeed. Life coaching focuses on external areas of your life you would like to change and be more effective in. A life coach helps support you by creating a safe space to listen to your goals and hold you accountable in achieving them. 

Therapy focuses on mental health and internal changes. It is designed to help you heal and work through trauma as well as connect the dots on why we react and feel the way we do.
